Vastu and the Directions

First we need to see if the place where we live is according to Vastu Shastra.

How exactly do you find Vastu and its directions in your home?

People living in the city now live in Apartments / Flats. So first let's look at the Vastu

 Sashtra of Apartments / Flats

 First we need to see in which direction our house is facing. That means find out which 

direction your front door is looking with the help of a COMPASS.

Four main directions

North

South

East

West

Four sub-directions:

 

North-East

North-West

South-East

South-West

Rooms in the house

The bedroom, the kitchen, the living room, the guest room, all of which have to be placed in

 your home are given priority and importance in Vastu Shastra in four sub directions. We 

also need to identify the four sub-directions that make up our house.

How can you easily identify all four sub directions.

1. The place where the North and East sides meet is in the North East corner.

2. The point where the South and East sides meet is in the South East corner.

3. South and West junctions are in the south west corner

 

4. The place where the north and west sides meet is in the north west corner

Sub-directions are not given much importance in Vastu Shastra.
